The most expensive Megahouse Gintama figure was Kamui & Souko both at 150USD. It'd take too long to individually list prices I paid for each figures, so I will make it short. When I got him, opened the box, and inspected the figure, I realized the quality gap was huge.Īnd so began my journey of collecting Megahouse Gintama figures. I was happy with Banpresto figures until I managed to grab Megahouse Gintoki off Ebay for mere 25 bucks brand new. Mind you that I was just getting into figure collecting at that time and had no idea of how expensive figures could get. Thus, it fits well compared to other Banpresto's Gintama figures.Īnd finally I have Banpresto Gintama figures on bottom along with Gintama voice thingies.Īt first, I began with Banpresto Gintama figures because I felt Megahouse versions were too expensive. It's by Banpresto and is 1/7 scale (loosely speaking). However, there is Sadaharu piggy bank which is almost like a figure, so I grabbed it. I also wanted Sadaharu but there is no figure for him. On a positive side, Banpresto has Shinpachi at least. While I understand that both of them have fairly low popularity, they are crucial to the series. I am really sad that Megahouse did not produce Tae and Shinpachi. Gintama figures have taken the entire unit.

Of course, I have to like a series to begin with. I am not saying I dislike girls, but I favor a healthy ratio between males & females when figures are displayed.
